oh yeah speaking of! so ever since I started working with twinks in January, shes always had an issue with keeping her head up while she lopes, making it super bouncy and very hard to sit. Due to this we never placed high in eq classes, especially ranch pleasure. now I could've used a tie down BUT, a.) I can't show in it b.) she won't learn much from it if its off c.) shes so claustrophobic I wouldn't be surprised if she freaked out. But at my last ride, she had it down the whole time and let me tell you that lope was smoother than silk, it was so rewarding to see all that progress come together <33

The Osprey Valley is the home of my role play characters. This is going to be a place for me to keep up with the development of my equines as well as who leaves/join/dies/born into this herd over time.

About The Horses

The herd is compiled of small, hardy ponies closely related to the Indian Pony breed. Each horse has a unique coat, with a variety of colors and patterns. Their heights range from 12h-14h and you will hardly ever see one weigh more than 900lbs.

Currently, the Osprey Herd is made up of a single alpha stallion, and two his own offspring. They are a tight-nit unit of colorful equines whom are extremely family oriented and rely on their one anothers’ sharp witts for their overall safe keeping and survival.

About The Location

There is a massive valley split in half by a salty river derived from the neighboring ocean, and sprinkled with luscious rolling hills nestled in the belly of a towering rockish mountain. A grove offers a home to the band as they avoid predators and larger equines looking to pick a fight against their minimal stature.

The Garden
In this peaceful clearing on the quiet side of the grove, lay the ancestors of the young generations.
Visiting this sacred place is a spiritual encounter that will leave you feeling wholesome. Leaders will frequently visit to seek insight from the elders on their troubling matters ... sometimes, with the right state of mind and the approval of the ancestors, they will be guided.

Lead Stallion
Shibbaan (Click Me)
Gender: Intact Stallion
Age: 24
Personality: Respected and Wise, Shibbaan has been the sole head of his family since the beginning. Charmingly smart and witty, he had a very unique “up in the clouds” philosophy about life and ways he kept his herd hidden and safe for decades. In his old age, he has become a bit testy and rather forgetful but still loving and loyal as he always had been.

Secondary Stallion
Tao (Click Me)
Intact Stallion
8 Years Old
Tao is much like his father in more ways than just his appearance. His grace and presence are just as powerful and impacting as his sire but he tends to be quieter and more serious.

Heirs
Sarin (Click me)
Intact Stallion
4 Years Old
Sarin is an opposite of his older half brother, Tao. While taking on his father’s laid back, charismatic character, he tends to lack the desire for responsibility and leadership traits.
