Let Loose The Demon
The wolf stood on the cliff alone, watching the pack he'd once called family and friends following his scent, tracking him down. He knew why they were tracking him. It was written all over their faces. He growled, dark anger broiling within his chest, heart racing with adrenaline as he stood there, silently cursing their names individually for betraying him in this fashion.
In his silent litany of these thoughts, he also apologized to those who'd stood by him, those he was damned proud to call his true family. He had been holding in his true nature as a wolf in for the sake of his friends, for they were all prey animals.
But, it looked like that beast was coming out to play today.
Feeling the rage within boiling over the edge of his soul, he could hold it back no more. His throat released a spine-chilling growl as his pupils shrank and the demon within spilled out.
His eyes took on the feral gleam of a predator ready to kill and he licked his muzzle, drooling, eager to begin.
He threw his head back, and let loose a soul shatteringly haunting howl, pouring into it his rage and grief. His body tensed as the entire pack looked up at him with a thirst for blood gleaming in their eyes.
He looked down at them, a look of a wrathful god on his face, ready to pass judgement on those who'd failed him and prepared to wreak his righteous vengeance upon them all.
With a snarl on his face, the demon within him urged him on, shifting his anger and rage into strength and power. Suddenly, his eyes took on a hellish hue of crimson, and with a wicked grin showing his menacing fangs, he simply replied.
"Welcome to hell."
