Introduction:
I heard the cracking of the whip as they loaded me onto a trailer. I didn't know where I was headed, but I knew it wouldn't be pretty. The screaming horses, and shouting humans sent my ears twisting every which way. I smelled blood and sweat as a few more horses were shoved into the already cramped trailer. Bang! The metal door slammed shut forcing us all to be crowded together. Being about 16.2hh I was able to look around slightly to see that there was six of us in a trailer that was made for three...
How was this? Would anyone be interested in more? Edited at September 23, 2018 04:32 PM by Gymkhana Girl

Part 1:
The trailers drove off, it was around 8pm now. The cold wind was biting at our faces and bodies as we were driven to a place unknown. Finally after what seemed like hours we pulled into our final destination. We were unloaded into small, cramped stalls. My tall, black body shook in fear and cold as the led me into one of the stalls. The stalls were musty, smelling of old hay and fear. There was a half rotted flake of hay but no water. I wondered where I was as people walked down the isle and more horses were brought in, some of which I knew others I did not, all fearful and skittish... except for one... an old gelding who was stalled next to me. He seemed unphased to what was happening around him. Looking at him I wondered if he had been here before or if he knew where we were or what was happening. Suddenly two men walked by my excuse for a stall I heard them say something about an auction the next day. Putting two and two together I realized that my days of running in a field and being a riding horse were over and that this marked a new time of pain and loneliness was upon me. It was never quite that night with the people taking and horses screaming. Restlessly I tried to move as much as I could in the tiny stall only managing to do a few tight circles before even that became to much. I stood for many hours until the first rays of sunrise came through the small windows in the barn.
Tell me what you think, sorry it's not as long as it could be and I might have forgotten about this for a while.. oops... Do you want more?
