So while I do play on occasion, I usually just accept a challenge and rarely post my own, because posting means I'd always have to start the rounds.
^I've noticed this too

I wish people didn't wait so long to respond. If their could be a 1-2 minute time limit to respond that would be great

I tried playing Leaves twice last night by joining games that were posted and both times the person never even took the first move. There definitely needs to be some sort of time limit to respond. And if I remeber correctly, the second person to join the game has the advantage because they can see what the other person's leaf value is [correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't actually been able to play any games of it this year yet lol]. Maybe both players need to submit their leaves each round without being able to see the value of the other player's leaf? --- Edit: After putting myself on the list and playing a game I can confirm that it is certainly advantageous to be the second person to join. It is so unfair and one-sided because the person who is the "responder" [second to go each round] can just pick a leaf that just barely beats the other persons leaf. Not only that, but if they don't have a higher leaf, they can just trash their lowest value leaves if they know they can't beat the leaf; those who go first each round don't have this advantage. Lastly, I'd like to see more of an incentive to participate. Winning region getting rerolls perhaps? 20k is nothing to most stables in this economy lol Edited at September 16, 2025 04:52 PM by Idle Lane Farms

I second having an incentive to win the game. Rerolls sounds like a nice prize.

I'll play if I'm sitting around bored, but that isn't often. The payout isn't really worth sitting around and waiting for other players to respond. If there was greater incentive, like rerolls, I think people would play more.

Yes, I noticed this too. I think to counteract this, both players should put a leaf forward and both are flipped at the same time instead of the first player's leaf value being visible.
Agreed, otherwise I'm in the same boat of waiting for somebody else to post a challenge

Yeah, I can't sit and wait around for people to respond

No, I don't think it's explained very well from my standpoint ( though I'm not very good at processing info ) and I just don't enjoy it much in general.
