Mostly capture party even then the odds of a half decent rating is not great.

I have a ton of captures to use but im trying to buy pastures to hold them all so i have to do that first and build up money to catch them I Know its not advised but ill do it some how.

i capture when i can and the mood strikes me, i mostly buy horses though.

I do 2-3 a month, waiting until the last week of the month to see if there will be a Capture Party

Otherwise, I sometimes try to do a quest, using the free capture items

During capture parties, I usually go a little insane. Like multiple hundreds of horses if not close to a thousand. But with the game economy now, EWWs are depreciating so it's almost not worth it unless you get a WWW (which I never have). And it also gets disheartening to see everyone in chat posting their shiny new WWWs when I rarely even breed one, let alone capture.

I Capture quite a bit. I also spend a lot during Capture Parties.
I have been lucky, but it does seem like over 50% of EEE+ captured horses are flops.

I do wish that wilds could be a smidge stronger to help us bring new colours into existing lines, erradicate certain pattersn etc.

It is frustating finally capturing something decent and it doesnt hold up. Forcing us to spend crazy amounts on LB horses if we even want to get a LOOK in the door at a decent wk7.

Capture parties only, I'll capture between 100-200

Been doing more capturing because of the maps I receive from quests. Those are nice, but I never capture more than the amount of maps I have and for the occasional quest.

During capture parties I easily capture 500+. Other than that I only capture for quests. And even then, only the few quests that are doable. Not the "capture 3 triple whatever" quests 😭

I capture for quests when I think its achievable, and usually using the free passes I accumulate from quests, sometimes Ill do a few maps when the urge strikes me too. But mostly I hoard maps from exploring, crafting and quests and do a feral number of captures on capture days.
