We could have this so it won't display on your horse unless you test it. And testing it will be cheap, like 100ebs. I think that would be a nice compromise.
That lessens some of my fears, then. Sadly, it's just a struggle in the AA world. I've seen too many players whine about the "purity" of my Arabians. As someone who takes pride in my LB babies, I wish it was better understood that TB is natural in AA, and AA wouldn't get anywhere without TB. They're there for a reason. . As long as I don't have to worry about inbreeding and more "purity" comments from that, I'm less against it. :) Thank you! |

That's weird because crossbreeding would decrease the chance of inbreeding. So your horses would actually be more pure. ;) |

Some people don't understand this lol. The AA world is kind of a mess of people who want TBs to increase AA strength (such as myself), and people who think it's weird when TB are majorly included in an AA pedigree because it's "less Arabian" and "more Thoroughbred" and then avoid the horses at all costs. Because it's not a "pure" AA. Lol |

When I was a new player, I used to feel ISHs, PONs, etc that weren't all of the same breed in the pedigree confusing. Then once I understood the breeding part of the game guide, I found it easier to find better matches because I had more breed options. So when Xs are breed on this account, I looked for both TBs and Xs. I can understand why somefolks would want to stay only Xs though. All in all, its a pixel pony game. Whatever floats your boat, just please don't deflate another players boat becuase you don't like the breeding choices. The game follows real life breeding options quite well, if it works in real life why shouldn't it be a good idea here? :) |

The problem is the toxicity I've received over my "impure" ponies, not me wanting their horses to be a certain way lol. My fear is, adding a percentage, could massively inflate that toxicity. Especially over blocking, if people decide a mare MUST be pure before being sent to their stud. This very thing has occurred in other games, so it could very well happen here, too. |

It wouldnt make a big difference to me in all honesty, but i can see everyones points here. the sudden decline in breeding oppurtunites and sudden increase in "pure lines only". i do think it would be fun to see, but it would also be nice to not have it as we've been doing alright without them.
I really like the idea of it being behind a "pay wall" 100ebs like Cadence Farms said. That way we can have the option of having it or not! I feel it would be a very nice comprmise with the people who do, and dont want it!
I am always down for more history learning about my digital ponies, but the concerns from other stables are very valid. i'd say im 50/50 on it |

I voted no. I agree with Versailles thoughts on this one. I have not bred AA but understand entirely as the same thing sometimes happens with my AQX. People tend to forget or do not stop to think/realize these are Appendix bred quarter horses and will have TB in the lines. Even though I voted no, I could possibly support having it as a paid test like the genetic testing. That way those who want it can have it and those of us who don't will just leave it be. However, if it is something that is available, you could still have those who have it as a stud requirement and block those who use untested mares. |

. There's just really no point in this option. All it is, is a number. If it isn't going to affect gameplay, all it will affect are players' attitudes towards certain stables. I've seen an inbreeding counter cause far too much drama and toxicity in other games, despite those games also not having it really affect anything.

So...I'm assuming people don't spend 20 minutes looking through pedigrees and other offspring like I do to find this out for myself lol. As long as the stat doesn't affect breeding I don't really care, though reading through some of these comments, I would have never guessed people get so up in arms about it. |
