This week we would like to revisit the potential COI feature. We had a poll about this several months back and the Community was torn. People have been asking me about it again. So I thought we'd discuss it again. For those who don't know, COI stands for Coefficient of Inbreeding and is just a stat that tell you how inbred your horse is. Total Votes: 339

As long as it doesn't affect gameplay and chances of breeding a nice horse I don't see why we shouldn't have it! Just a fun little thing, like genetic test, that tells you a little bit more about your horse |

I strongly support this. I always keep clean lines in my breeding program so would appreciate a way to easily show off that hard work. :) I'm curious how others will feel though as I usually feel like I'm in the minority as far as caring about this. |

No. I breed Arabians. I'm sick and tired already of hearing people say the Anglo Arabian isn't "pure" because of how much TB is within the lineage. The last thing I want is to hear that now my Arabians are ever-slightly too inbred for their taste.
. There's just really no point in this option. All it is, is a number. If it isn't going to affect gameplay, all it will affect are players' attitudes towards certain stables. I've seen an inbreeding counter cause far too much drama and toxicity in other games, despite those games also not having it really affect anything.
. I MIGHT be willing to middle ground if we have to pay to reveal it. So it's not immediately displayed to the world. Like genetic testing. Only separate. |

This. I've had problems with people not wanting to breed to my horses because they have other breeds in their pedigrees and it gets a little bit frustrating |

No thanks. I can already see people adding COI to stud requirements and threatening to block people if they use mares above X COI. |

We could have this so it won't display on your horse unless you test it. And testing it will be cheap, like 100ebs. I think that would be a nice compromise. |
