The real life Knabstrupper Registry was updated to allow outcrosses, so we’re thinking of adding this to the Game. Crossbreeding in real life introduces some white patterns to Knabs and some they still don’t allow. Current Game KNN artwork doesn’t have any white patterns drawn, aside from appy. The KNN breeding irl allows crossbreeding with Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, and Anglo Arabians. So I’m thinking we will allow crossbreeding in the Game (WB, TB, AA) , and if the foal has a white patterns other than appy it will not result in a KNN foal. Grey will also not result in a KNN foal. (Per Registry). Foals that fail the criteria will result in a SH. This isn’t a perfect solution but is closer than what we currently have. Outcrosses can be Stallions or Fillies. Still makes it a challenge since they don't have appy, but would really add some genetics that the KNN needs? Yes please sign me up |

I honestly like it the way it is. I havent been doing them long, but I feel as though KNNs are the only breed with a decent brood market, I feel as though being able to cross breed them will make them as easy as some of the other breeds. I do think if it were introduced, only 1 of the breeds above would do. Not all 3. Although many will appreciate it. I also think many also like the challenge of no crossbreeding in game with the breed. Edit: I do agree that the breed needs help. and will most definately use the cross breeding if introduced lol. But i quite like the challenge of them as a 'stand alone' in game |
