How about a Game Poll? We'd love to hear your thoughts on Futurities!

Both of my stables enter futurities. A few times we have won it's worth it to me

I won a futurity once and was pleased but it took a LOT of attention to remember to show and some months I just don't have the time or focus.

No but I would love to because it seems like fun! My problem with it though is that are just some stables that have a monoply on the futurities so it's just so hard to get any sort of foot hold and stand a chance ;-;

I don't because it takes almost the full month for the horses to train up enough to even be profitable to show. Plus my breeding season lasts pretty much the whole year so most of my yearlings would never even start to make a profit until they were technially 2 year olds.

I think I've only done them once or twice 😅

Honestly, I don't really understand it and seems too difficult.

I used to do all four, but now I only do eventing because I just don't have the time in RL to get my riders the proper experience :)

I did have most of my accounts doing futurity. It takes a lot of time and focus. I may still do them but only occasionally.

I do them every year on this account (I don't bother with my sides because I'm not on them every day like this one). I usually get at least 1 placing, often multiple between disciplines. I do avoid doing the maths on entry vs prize money as I don't imagine I'm pulling much profit if any on years without an actual win, but I enjoy it so I'm not too fussed.
