I preferred that they have different pages, since I haven't been on here for a while and I couldn't find my accountant until I looked at the stable staff >.<

Took me a whole day to find my riders as I did not realize there was a switch. I eventually remembered I could access them from my stable page, only realizing later that they were labled under staff. I kinda like the old way as I didn't have to go to so many pages they were just labled in drop down and it was an easy acces to which ever one I wanted. I'm use to very slow computers so jumping from page to page takes a while so may be more tediouse for players with slower systems. Putting all that aside I do think it looks good and is still functional the new way.

I like the drop down menu, I also like that their together now and not separate so I don't accidentally click one that have to go back and click the other one.

I also freaked when I couldn't find my accountant. I thought maybe viewing the accountant was a premium feature now since there was no update!! LOL.

Definitely like how it was before much better!

I like it... It was confusing at first, but it makes the main drop down more efficient. Perhaps the same can be done to Stable activities? That way we can click on the activity we want, rather than go looking for it on the Stable Activities page.

I second the stable activities one! But I want my riders lounge back on my drop down menu 😅 It's kind of annoying to have to load another page

I haven't been on for a bit so only seen the change now, personally prefer it how it was before where each staff page was separate on the stable drop-down, rather than needing to do an extra click to get where I want

Having used it a bit now, I think my preference is firmly for the dropdown—as other folks have said, adding another page load into the process is slow, and on mobile the dropdown also lessens the back-and-forth clicking across the screen to get where I'm trying to go (which is especially nice as someone with wrist pain). It's still an extra click this way, but that click has pretty minimal user impact. The one thing I've noticed that does routinely trip me up is that the main menu lists "Stable/Services/Search" all in a row, and then clicking into the Stable submenu has "Stable Activities/Stable Staff" back to back as well. All those similar-length S titles makes it slower to skim menus and easy to misclick, especially in the Stable submenu where everything else can be skimmed at the left side of the menu and those two are the exception. They're identical for half the line, and so become easy to mix up when navigating menus quickly. I might recommend switching those two to just be labeled "Activities" and "Staff"? We've already clicked into the Stable section at that point, so the context is fairly clear, and the visual differentiation would seriously help reduce misclicks (and thus additional page loads/frustration). Just as a visual example, here's the difference in how they feel to read in menu order: Barns Mailbox Stable Activities Stable Staff Training Center Barns Mailbox Activities Staff Training Center It might be a subtle difference, but I suspect it could make that menu a lot smoother to use. Even after taking some time to see how well I adjusted to using the new setup... yeah, haha, I'm definitely noticing how many times I pop that menu open, mentally stumble, then frequently click the wrong thing and have to wait for the next page to load before digging though the menus all over again. That said, thank you as always for all your work on the site! Overall I do like the chance to the submenu quite a bit, especially if more staff are being added that would make the stable menu long in the tooth. Edited at March 3, 2026 09:04 AM by Thronesfell
