Truth. There are quite a few xD One time I tried to cross a creek that I thought had solid ground around it and it most certainly was not solid 😅 My horse Thunder was a saint for getting us through that without anyone dying. Safe to say I'm staying away from that creek now lol (A picture of the best boy, Thunder) I also decided it was a good idea to try standing up on my sisters mustang to go over a jump xD --- Truth: What horse has taught you the most in your time riding? Dare: Ride your horse/a horse bareback(walk, trot, and canter or just walk and trot) with 1 dollar bills under your thighs and see how long you can hold them Edited at August 31, 2025 09:34 PM by ShiningStar Stables

Dare: so uh one of the bills ripped because the 22 year old gelding I rode decided to start bucking😭 other then that the bills stayed under my thighs the whole time lol (bonus the horse I rode for the dare is also the horse that has taught me the most in my many years of riding) -+-+- Truth: share your most embarrassing moment at a horse show Dare: feed your horse a pickle and share a picture of his/hers reaction

D: I don't have pickels to even try that with T: Oh many it's been a very long time since I've showed (wool jackets). It's not very embarrasing but I was a reader for dressage tests and was so nervous I said some parts wonky (also trying to modulate your voice to reach the rider without everyone in a area hear you is hard). Do I have lifelong embarrasment from something in highschool, yes. Do I constantly think about that one weird thing I said from like six months ago, yes. Are they horse related, no. Truth: What is your current tack or riding outfit set up? Or what are some dream items? Dare: Share a photo at a show (no face) or a picture of your horse tacked up, show ready!

Dare: put a santa hat on your horse, give them a candy cane, and post a pic😌 Edited at November 23, 2025 05:55 PM by KPH Equestrian

Aww, no santa hat 🎅 for the dare 😞 I have a bloop instead Truth: Honestly, I just want to get back into riding. It's been a year since I've been in the saddle and way more than that since I've actively ridden. I really want to be in a position to go foxhunting and get the courage to try it sidesaddle. Jumping has always been in my heart and I hope when I get back into riding, that jumping wont be too scary for me as that would break my heart. Dressage is fine for a bit, but I need to do something like go over or around obstacles. Maybe try out Working Equitation as it's taking over. - Truth: Which would you pick? (and why) - Unstarted 3 year old who is willing and trainable and can go in any discipline you want, but you have to train it to do everything (only baby steps) - Schoolmaster who has been there and done that with superb training, but doesn't have any experience in the discipline you want (such as a barrel racing horse going into dressage or a hunter turned roper) - In-the-middle horse who's tried just about anything and does alright, but needs a mild training program to stick with the discipline(s) - jack of all trades master of none Dare: Buy an HEE Horse outside of your breed(s) for your show string
