| Talking about darker coats... Anyone know why our local deer would have VERY dark winter coats. Like really dark grey. O.o They usually aren't that dark. |

| Six months is generally the time people start exposing them to catnip, as far as I'm aware. Though some just don't care until a year or beyond |

| For really young kittens it can cause overstimulation which isn't good for them because their brains aren't fully developed |

| Bird, Unless he's younger than six months, I wouldn't worry about it. But a quick google search on a veterinary page says kittens a year and older start becoming reactive to catnip over time, IF it's their thing |

| My mom had a neutered male cat, that really didn't react to catnip. Now the spayed female we had at the same time... she liked it. lol |

| Also reaction to catnip can be genetic and only 50-75% of cats actually react to it |

| I was warned by Sketti's foster mama though, that catnip can have very negative effects on kittens so I'd still be careful |
