| spring, do you have the training resources and time to get an off the track thoroughbred? there are plenty that are started and either raced and were too slow or went to training and were really too slow. they can be retrained into just about anything and are seriously cool! |

| There's not. Even if there was, I'm not sure I would trust the horses, due to people in my area. It's just ridiculous how much you have to pay for a half decent horse. I've also thought about doing a mustang, but I don't really want to deal with one |

| They are. I just wished we could've gotten her into a vet. I'm definitely not going to an auction for my next one, which unfortunately I need because I'm retiring my main after this year. Which is part of why I needed her. Definitely gonna do a PPE if I don't decide to lease one first |

| Auctions are tough. I wanted to buy from an auction before and was told not to go unless I had a vet or trainer go with but even then it's impossible to be sure what you are getting. If she did have something going on, at least her time living was with love. who knows who she could have/would have went to otherwise. |

| From an auction. Not my smartest move, but she was being so good in the ring. I rode her the next day too and she was perfect. But, the guys I got her from are horse traders so who knows what it was. Turns out a friend of mine bought a horse from the same people and they had a similar experience. Didn't know that till last night, though |
