There used to be (I think they closed it, anyway) a regular racetrack not too far from where I grew up. One of the best birthdays I had as a kid was a party there, got to watch the races and take a picture with the winner XD

Harness racing is actually went to college for. And we have a harness track right next to the flat track in Saratoga
