| Em, I stopped breeding my SD mares because they throw me the most random things no matter how I match them xD |

| Red - ahh okay, so the deceased foals in the breeding history are just ones that have been free ranged after being born or have had a lethal genetic combo? I need to check with some of my mares I know don't carry either and see what is up with those, I have one with like six failed breedings. |

| After how many deceased foals should the mare be retired from breeding? Is it just luck based when lethal genes are not at work or do the horses have individual likelihoods for successful foaling? |
