| I think what helped is that I did right away and didn't let it soak into their skin. Since skunk spray is oil based it can absorb rather quickly if left for to long |

| that's impressive. when my poor cat got skunked I had to run to walmart for hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to get it out of his fur. my poor husband sat in the tub with the little sad wet cat for like half an hour trying to get him not to smell anymore xD |

| I pretty much water boarded my dog and I know I got soap in her eyes but at that point it was the lesser of two evils |

| Dawn dish soap and scrubbing and rinsing for about 20-30 mins. Don't smell anything on them at all after they dried off. |

| I had to scrub my dogs multiple times because they got hit by a skunk. Our older one took the brunt of it though and pretty much got shotgunned in the face with it 🤮 |
