Nope. The hair you donate to locks of love carries very little DNA, unless you fully shave your head for it. Locks of love, however, makes you braid and then cut your hair. The hair that is cut is not cut right off your head, therefore the cortex of the hair remans intact on your head. To answer your question simply: It wouldn't be traced back to you. And if it were, the authorities would see your cut hair and recognize the differences in length between your hair, and the hair found at the crime scene. Not to mention they would have to have a relevant DNA sample in the system or to be able to get a direct sample from you. Chances are, you'd never meet, see, or live in the same place as the person wearing your hair around.
