Min, genuinely, character developing experience 🤣 some woman felt so sorry for me she leant me her little cob to take out that Boxing Day, who was an absolute legend! Literally pootled along on the buckle, in a happy mouth loose ring, he was SO much fun

Christ almighty Oak! Im tempted to try a hireling but Im not sure Im brave enough 🤣🤣 Might just wait until Ted is ridden and take him bloodhounding (and use his age as an excuse to not attempt anything over 30cm 🤣)

I was taken out for my 13th(?) birthday on one, the bloke who ran the company was completely dodgy (traveller, used to buy whatever he could get his hands on from our local market) but he also had a side business in driving, hearses and displays etc. The gelding that I got was a huge, hogged out Irish thing, went in a dutch gag and a martingale and still had a mouth like concrete. Turns out it was driven through the week and only hunted on weekends. We got to the halfway field, he offered to swap horses to show me that he wasn't too bad, sat on it for all of 5 minutes and sent it back to the lorries. I think it broke a man's back the following week! Needless to say, I don't think he was welcome with that pack in the future

To be fair, most of them are pretty good. The owners cannot afford an absolute nutter. Too many insurance claims

River, I'm very tempted to take a hireling out before closing meet this year, as my pony is too much os an asbo to be trusted (and desperately unfit). The only hireling I've ever taken was an utter psychopath, however 🤣

I always found riding a hireling the most interesting, I never knew what to expect.

Bloody needed it trying to sit on that out hunting, if I wasn't at least slightly tipsy I would've had too much self preservation 🤣🤣

All good! I respect that lmao, Woods basically knows his way to the pub and back with no input from me, which is ideal for the way home 🤣 The one thing I wish he was better at was being a sensible hunter, the amount of times he ended up port stained from pissing off with me while I was trying to have my civilised drink at the meet 🫣

Sorry I poofed lol. It really is fun! Minnie loves to drive but she's definitely a "to the pub" pony rather than quick turns etc. I do like driving smaller ones- you can see much more among other things 🤣🤣

K-Pop is underrated, if you were to ignore bigger groups like BTS and Blackpink, >3<

Good music is underrated. Most of the general public just consumes whatever big money artists the media throws at them. I won't say that pop hits aren't catchy sometimes; I will say they're often actually musically uninteresting once you look past the wall of rabid fans claiming the artist to be some sort of virtuoso. I'll use Taylor Swift as an example: absolutely brilliant marketing and some sappy relatable emo-girl poetry in her lyrics, but she's about as nothingburger as they come vocally.

If your pillow is too fluffy and thick, it's not good for the alignment of your spine. Personally, the floor is the top dog of places to sleep.

Cats should be properly socialized and desensitized when young just like dogs so they don't get anxious when people come over, and so you can take them places without any suffering- yours or the cat's.

My cat hates people aside from me and my family and that makes me feel special, also she can open door knobs so I perfer when she's afraid of people so she can't get stolen if she escapes because she's insanely cute x-x

It's not good when you literally can't taste anything after burning your maw on something too spicy. And capsaicin burns both upon entry and exit >,>

Good books are better than great books.
Good books are nicely written, have a satisfying conclusion, likable characters, and an interesting plot.
Great books are incredibly written, realistic, have loveable, relatable characters that make you forget they're not real people, heart-wrenching storylines, and endings that cross all the t's and dot the i's and yet leave you craving more, and sad that your journey with the characters is over.
-
I say good books are better than great books because finishing a great book is bittersweet, it always leaves me terribly sad and not wanting to pick up a different book for a while :')

From your own writing:
-
"Great books are incredibly written, realistic, have loveable, relatable characters that make you forget they're not real people, heart-wrenching storylines, and endings that cross all the t's and dot the i's and yet leave you craving more, and sad that your journey with the characters is over."

How can something so good be overruled by something... less good?
Great books leave you thinking about them for hours, going over the story again, finding the secrets that were revealed to you later, and imagining yourself in the story.
-
Therefore, good books are not better than great books because you practically said so yourself.

Dogs may be better than cats in general, sure, but they're not better than MY cat. He plays with the dog like a dog would, he enjoys rolling in the dirt, he does a comically bad job of licking himself, is barely aware of the fact that he has claws, and goes totally limp when you pick him up. (yes this was an argument as to why my cat is great. this is him)

So, y'know how Coca Cola used to have c0caine in it?(hence the name coca cola, was made with the Coca plant) And how the full recipe is a secret and only 2 people in the world know it? Well I think they never removed the coca from the cola, just paid someone to let them keep it a secret🙈
