Stella other dogs can help if they actually are trained and know how to correct. Some dogs just don't have the socialization and the ability to properly correct other dogs I find

Agree Dark plus I feel most people don't watch their dog at all and just talk or are on their phone

I should’ve made my comment a lot more clearer. That was my fault. Dog parks or dog places a few of them have areas that you could pay to use or some only have a dog limit so it’s not overrun and crowded with a bunch of maniac dogs. Dogs learn via other dogs. I put the idea out there as I assumed the puppy being around friendly dogs would’ve helped due to the Other dogs correcting bad behaviour. I should’ve made it clearer. I apologise.

Khaos On leashes, to go to the bathroom outside, that they wouldn't howl, etc.

I hate dog parks because most people there can't read canine body language for shit, and it leads to fights. I don't trust other people to have control of their dog and I don't trust them to know when their dog is being an asshole either

Vecc is correct. I trained my husky not to scream (shocker right lol) by just ignoring her if she screamed at me in her kennel, and feeding her a kibble or a small treat when she quieted down and had relaxed.

Being around their mom and siblings is all a pup has known in their short little lives. Being 'alone' is new and scary for them. They are going to holler. You and your dad need to understand this and be tolerant of the vocals. They won't last long, unless you come a running every time she does it. That just reenforces the howling.

I have seen to many dog fight victims come into my clinic from dog parks not good
