This was Sam, our Dressage trainer. I'm quite clumsy and he saw me trip twice when tacking up so apparently he expected the worst xD |

Trainer: "Oh yes! Drop those stirrups!"
"Wrong Lead"
"Change your diagonal"
*After a messy jumping course*
"What was that?"
"Smack him (with a crop) like you mean it"
"Still the wrong lead"
*At show*
Me: *walks into ring, forgets course and jumps a random one*
Trainer: "What was that?! We went over it like 8 times before you went in!"
Announcer: *Announces that I won the class*
Me: *Cackles*
Trainer: "Well then..."
"I wanna hear you counting...LOUDER!"
"I said sitting trot, not flop around trot."
"Leg"
"More leg"
"Half halt... Whoa, whoa... WHOA! S***! Grab mane!"
"Have you forgotten everything?"
"What are you doing?"
Me: "You want me to jump that?!"
Trainer: "Yeah, is there a problem with that?"
Me: "Nope. Guess not. Just didn't feel like dying today."
Sooooo many more I can post hahaha.

Should being the key word" (After my horse tripped on both front legs and nearly fell) "It's good he just forgot he had four legs" "I want you to hold these sticks and then if you break your wrists you'll stab yourself" "Are you videoing me to see if I get bucked off? Because actually that's not nice." "Steady your hands can't you see he's getting pissed off at you?!" "Yeeeep, do that again and don't drop your hands or I will cut them off." "I swear if your horse pulls up lame again we should just amputate that leg." "Was that your twenty meter circle? It was about as round as a school bus." My trainer is a character XD |
