We made a makeshift one out of a Styrofoam cooler, ice and a little fan for a horse show in mid August, did pretty decent. Probably not great for large spaces though lol

Wow. Can’t get much more “Arabian” than that. Totally looks like a “Cairo” to me :P

I know of a bunch of good horses that have ended up in that situation, unfortunately, including a Kentucky Derby runner. It’s a sad thing how horses get lost in the “shuffle”.

Thank you for the compliments!! It'll be about 6-8 hours, and he'll be home!! He'll be here at about 11pm. I have a huge list of names, and after I meet him, I'll narrow it down to only a few. I absolutely cannot wait!

In terms of trying to find out who he is, we have a few leads, but he's proving to be VERY difficult to find!!

I know exactly what you mean. I have a Dutch Warmblood (rescued last February; underweight by a good 400lbs) that used to be a professional Show Jumper. The woman who purchased him as a yearling in New York paid $25,000 for him... and that's all I know. I have no idea who he is, and I've pretty much given up trying to find out.

I'm so excited for you!!! Rescues form the strongest bonds, which I'm sure you know already. He's a beautiful boy. I'm so happy you have him.
