I show even my EEE, WEE and WWE boys gelded, in SD. I also dont show my AD breeding stock though and I know alot of people do

I've noticed the same too Willow, yeah--I still have them training AD but just primarily put them in their best discipline. SD is certainly easier to maximize though as Athena mentioned
Gaelic Gladiacres

although I suppose there's no harm really since they're not breeding stock, unless you want to compete eventing/AD

A lot of them are EEE, but I noticed some do better in a certain discipline, even while in AD

I personally prefer SD over AD. It is simpler for me personally and therefore makes me the most income as I understand it better

Update 8
Tuesday I went to the barn and worked Echo and it was the best I ever worked with her! She picked up all of her hooves and did not make a fuss she even had them ready for me to pick up. I lunged her in the indoor and she did amazing both directions. I also worked a lot on trotting with her and she did it like a pro! I clicked twice and she trotted at the same pace as me and carried her head low. I also walked her over the ground pole and trotted her over it and she never even hit it. I backed her and she backed straight and I also did some stops and she was already set up. I introduced her to the mounting block again and let her stand by it and then picked it up and moved it a little then put it back down. I can start breaking her soon so I wanted her to get used to it now. I am so proud of Echo she amazes me everyday and is such a good baby I am so lucky to have her. The bond I have made with her in a month is so good I love her and trust her. After my heart horse retired I thought I was just going to keep riding horses get attached and then they leave because at the time we were not ready for a horse and couldn't find the right one. To be honest Echo chose me because she originally was not for sale but that did not work out and she was for sale and found me first and I am so thankful for that and the opportunity god has given me.

Update 9
So today I did something a little different, I put a bareback pad on Echo to see how she would do and get her ready for a real saddle. She can start to be broken this winter/spring I'm in no rush so I just introduced it let her smell it and put it on. She didn't do anything bad but she was just unsure of it so I walked her around a little then took it off and am going to introduce it again next time I work with her. I also did some in hand work and she did really good with that. My trainer says after the bareback pad we are going to start with a regular saddle pad and a light weight jockey saddle then introduce a regular saddle and a side pull with no bit until we see how she does.

Thank you, I bought her from my trainer but we get a bunch of foals and yearlings from a lady in New York called Catherine Jaton and most of the foals and yearlings are sired by the Appaloosa stallion "Always in the mood." All of his babies are phenomenal we have serval at my barn and they are all great.

Thanks! I'm currently looking into getting a young horse.
