The girth gall is almost gone now :) It rained a ton, so it is extremely muddy, and boy I can't wait to bathe the horses this summer, they need a good scrubbing down! We are taking him to get tack fitted to him, my tack isn't really for drafts, so we are working on getting him some fitted tack. He is going camping this summer, I'm introducing him to some new things, since we're sure he was an amish horse, he is iffy about town riding, he hasn't really spooked, but he does tend to snort at trashcans, vehicles etc. Overall he is so precious, before all of that he does need a vet check up lol, I'm still wondering to why or how he found himself in the slaughter ):

(That is not me lmao, its my girl :,)!)

Got a bigger girth and tomorrow we are getting a rest from the rain, finally! My yard is basically a pond, but that won't stop us, as long as he goes through it lol. Not sure if I'm gonna sinch him up & ride, might make sure the girth fits & get on bareback, don't wanna risk another girth gall right after the other one just healed. He gets a ton of attention in town, even gets selfies with people lol, can't wait to give him a good bathe & clean up his feet. Need to get my farrier down soon lol

I might also get him a fake horse tail, I don't like how its docked, and man that has to be aggravating in the summer, not able to smack the flies off.
