Welcome! <3 I've been riding since I was seven, and doing playdays and rodeos since I was nine I think? Sadly still don't own a horse and don't think I will for a while as I figure life out, but currently i'm riding a off track thoroughbred mare named Twinkie, who used to look like a twinkie in the winter of 2020. She's currently a 2D barrel horse (avg. 28-24s) after a long year of work, though we're still working on putting our head down when we lope...lol. Must say, her lope's pretty bouncy right now but is WAY better than it was in January, and i've seen much progress throughout the 12 months i've been working with her! Have fun at your lessons, work hard, and again, welcome to HEE!!!

I started riding when I was about 5 years old, and continued to ride on and off until I was 19 for a total of 14 ish years. Never owned a horse, but rode in lessons once a week and fell in love with some schoolies lol. I would love to ride again and possibly have my own horse in the future, but life is so expensive :'D

Welcome to HEE, I'm pretty new too!
I've been riding horses nearly all of my life (since I was about 2), but I finally got my own pony at 13. I'll have had him 10 years in February! I started part-loaning before I got my own, and went up through Pony Club at my riding school. If the place you ride offers stable management/horse care lessons, I'd really recommend them, it's the best way to learn for when you eventually get one of your own <3

Welcome to HEE, there's a fantastic horse community here <3 - Ive been riding my whole life! My grandpa was a reiner, my mom showed hunter and jumpers on the A circuit and I grew up in both of those worlds. Now I own a cowhorse/ranch versatility horse and a Mustang that I plan to event on next year. The horse world is amazing but I certainly miss the days of my parents funding my addiction haha
