Thanks guys! I'm excited! And it's nice since I've always ridden green horses to feel what riding certain dressage movements with true engagement feels like. I just needed to really FEEL it to understand it. Vs trying to do what the instructor says and training my green horse to do it when I have no clue what the true movement feels like to know when we get it. |

Thanks guys! And yes RIDs vs ISH are hard to find. And when you do find them for sale, they're usually packing a good price tag. I LOVE RID and ISH though. That Irish really brings brave and calm and cool for jumping and cross country.
She's getting her butt whipped back into shape after having a foal and sitting around for quite a few months. I can't wait until she's fit. Yesterday I trailered out my three horses and a friends horse. Ava (RID mare) packed around an 8 year old up and down hilly and desert mountain trails no problem. She's a real good girl.
She'll be bred in the spring to Sea Lion. A 3* TB stud. I'll give her the next year off and then later produce a RID foal to keep the breed going. |
