I have known this person for some time now,and my mom has been with horses all her life and she will be helping me a lot as i will also be taking lessons on him! |

It sounds like a really good deal. Especially if you want to learn on him, as he sounds like he's been around the block and has dealt with (small) children.

Sounds like a good deal for someone who perhaps needs to go through the steps again,and being old shes like a schoolmaster so may be just what you need!But at the same time,If you want to learn properly and take things slow id have a few riding lessons to help you decide!And maybe ask your riding instructor as they should be able to judge if your ready by your riding skill! Hope this helps! |

I would go to a stable and take lessons, ask if you can do some horse work to learn more about horses. See if you have a local 4-H |

I suggest taking lessons and learning what it's like to own a horse,before even thinking about leasing or buying. |

Just saying, that is the combo of my 2 favorite horse breeds! I learned to ride on an Arabian and have loved the breed since then, and Andalusians are the most amazing horses ever! (I own one, trust me). I would say hold back on leasing. You dont have the experence at all to be riding not in a lesson and even just leasing a horse is a huge mental, physical, and financial strain. Good luck in your riding journey! |
