I had a horse make a full recovery from a broken splint bone. We had them surgically removed. Made them into earrings, actually. |

So... took Mrs Roxy out of her splint last night... she's walking completely sound, and has no drop in her suspensory!!! I'm super excited because she has a bright future ahead if she keeps this up, the splint bones don't bother her as much but we will still get them removed, and just look at her! Baring full weight on that leg no problem! (We still keep the splint on at night until the injury is 100% healed!) |

She hasnt gotten a trim in a short minute, but her hooves are by far strong, all terrain XD |
