basically my horse was being stubborn and nothing was wrong with her so she said that as in telling me to try to turn her then send her forward after :) not actually meaning that absolutely not otherwise i would've looked at my trainer like 'what the crap? imma go find a new barn' though i understand the misunderstanding |

I have a few btw my trainer jokes around a lot, she doesn't mean anything and she's rlly nice dw lol (Doing work without stirrups) "it's ok if you fall off, it's been a while so it's probably a good thing, get it over and done with while your on a small horse" (I'm kinda short btw) "if you keep looking at that bird you'll end up flying like it, and I mean flying off missy (the horse)" "Woah she drank a lot of water." "My grandma walks faster than you, but if you give her a little nudge and she'll fall over instead of going faster."

Some things my trainer has said this summer: "KICK HER LIKE YOU'D KICK YOUR BROTHER" ( for context she was being sarcastic because the mare I was riding was being quite lazy that day, and I do not in fact kick my brother haha ) "HEELS DOWN. DOWN. Good lord... DOWNNNN" ( I was trying to lope for the first time and found it quite hard to keep my heels down while concentrating on where I was going ) "Ah shoot... why did I let you ride her with shorts on-" ( Yeah, dumb decision made by me, whoops- ) "I BOUGHT HER FOR 900 DOLLARS, YOU'RE MAKING HER LOOK LIKE WHAT I BOUGHT HER FOR" ( That day was a horrible lesson xD everything she said went in one ear and out the other, I was super stressed so I just couldn't pay attention well ) "Woah boy, SIT, SIT YOUR BUTT DOWN, SHE'S KICKING OH MY GODDD" ( So like, the horse I was riding threw a couple kicks, they didn't feel like much but like I guess they were and she and my mom were losing it watching my flail around in the saddle lol ) |
