Okay, so Zahli was born on Thursday night, initially I thought she was chestnut, but in the morning she lightened up a hell of a lot, she has white hairs growing through her mane and apart from a tuft of hair the colour of her coat at the top running a few inches down, her tail is white/cream. She has green/blue eyes, 4 white hooves and pink skin - some of these traits can point to both chestnut and palomino foals. I have read about palomino foals being born an apricot colour.

What colour do you think she is? Her dam is chestnut roan and her sire is palomino. I have sent off a DNA sample for colour confirmation and will update as soon as the results are ready.

Chestnut roan is strawberry roan :D I've sent off the sample to be tested for cream and for roan :)
