Wild. I'm not sure I've ever seen nor heard of anyone advocating for coyotes here. They've crossbred with domestic dogs and those packs get larger and larger. Livestock is a big problem here too, you aren't required to have tags or for them to be "in season" here.

We had a couple dens of them on a TB farm I worked for, but they didn't mess with the babies or mommas so we just let them be.

They are pests, and they kill a lot of livestock and true native animals.
But there is also huge support from those who classify them as natives.

They were brought here by humans. They did not evolve here naturally and have contributed to extinction of our native predators. But yeah, they are classified by the Gov as pests(wild Dogs).

Do you all consider Dingoes pests like we consider Coyotes? Like there's no limit on them?

when you use an embryo, does the surrogate mares ratings matter? just checking :P

I can only think of 2 venomous snakes near me that are native, which are our biggest concern. We have bobcats and the like but super uncommon, at least in my area, to see any.
Glacier Bay Cove

I would not handle a venomous snake/animal, not for all the money on earth

They can, in places where there is not much food or if they are crossed with domestic dogs and are more aggressive.
I actually really dislike them and believe they do not belong here at all.

My babies were exactly the same with apples and carrots. They were poison and how dare i even suggest they try to eat them. I had to physically shove it into each one's mouth lol even now though, Apollo is convinced carrots are orange mechanisms of death.

I know this isn't what you personally do, but he would make the cutest hunter or jumper. He's adorable!

He is so amazing! You are goinv to go far with him!

Is he pretty flexible? My half arab is extremely limber! Are other arabs the same way?

I plan to show him hunter pleasure on the flat at the least @breyer :D

He is quite flexible! Once he's loosened up under saddle, yeah he's really loose and bendy. Most arabs are pretty limber. Purebreds are usually pretty flexible, half arabs it really depends on the cross.

Well, I thought I recorded my whole ride for you guys today. Had my camera on a tripod and everything. Turns out, must've accidentally hit the record button twice and shut it off. Next time!! Maybe it was for the best, he wasn't wanting to listen very nicely today - the weather isn't as cold and I think it was making him feel a little fiesty. No biggie, by the end we had a very productive ride - it just took a little understanding. I did take a video of him being adorable and following me around at least. I'll post it in a bit!!

So sorry for the wait on the video. Life around here has gotten substantially busier! Nonetheless, here's Mr Eli wanting snuggles and following me around. Also, trying to eat my phone at the end xD

Video won't work on my phone - not sure why. Let me know if you guys can see it :) Also, exciting thing for Eli - our horsey masseuse is coming out today for his first massage. I think he'll feel 100x better after this - he has SUCH tight muscles in his neck (has since he came - I'm guessing it's from being in the stressful environment of the kill pen) and I think he'll be much more comfortable undersaddle after this.

Our boys love it too! Eli really enjoyed his massage. Our woman is awesome, and he really liked her. He had a few VERY nasty tight spots, and she taught me more stretches and things I could do to keep him tuned up, which is awesome. Interestingly enough, she's a very practical woman but she highly recommended that I have a reading done on Eli by an animal communicator that she really trusts. She said she doesn't believe any others but really does this woman. She said that she thinks we could possibly learn a lot about Eli. Two of our friends recommend her as well. I'm an open minded person, so I'm going to give it a try next week. Have you guys had experience with animal communicators? What were your thoughts?

I have zero experience with them, but please let us know how it goes. I think it's worth a shot, especially with his background. It's definitely not going to hurt anything, so why not?
