Hiya! im pretty new to this game. but i have beer riding horses for around 6-7 years but i sadly dont have my own horse yet. i really want one tho!!! At the moment im riding a 24 year old called missy. (I dont own her so i have no idea what breed she is lolz) shes rlly cute and rlly fast XD soooooooooo how long have some of you guys been riding? and how long were you riding before you got your own horse? |

Hiii! Welcome to HEE<3 Missy sounds lovely :D I love older horses who dont act their age xD Ive been on horses since i was a few days old, and been around my mothers horses and ponies forever. I got my pwn pony technically when I was four, but he really became mine when I was 8 or so. Hes been my project pony for close to a decade now, and I love him<3 Two years ago we rescued a QH, and he ended up as mine too LOL. Which is to say I've never known a time without horses and ponies in my life, and I love them with all my heart<3 Edit: spelling lol |

Welcome!! Missy sounds amazing! Older horses are great! I've been riding since i was 6 and got my first horse when i was 11, currently i have one horse and take care of 10, meaning i can ride them whenever. I have this ten year gelding called Prince and he really is the dream! |

Welcome to the HEE family! Not too sure how long I have been riding but I am leasing an amazing mare at an amazing barn. I would love to own a horse too in the future but am more financially happy with leasing :) I also coach from time to time my friend and my sister and manage two pages sharing my horse journey and equine welfare and horse world updates! |

Working for your barn is definetly a good move! I worked for mine for 2 years before moving and it was amazing |

Welcome to HEE! I hope you love it here as much as I do! I've been riding for just about 7 years now (which is absolutely crazy for me to think about, especially since I'm not that good LOL). I started by doing my local Pony club lessons every two weeks, started taking weekly lessons at a lesson barn, rode my neighbours horses during COVID, and then started leasing a horse twice a week for the past 5 years! So I don't own a horse yet, and I'm thinking it will be another 6-7 years before that happens so I can finish my degree, get a job, money, etc. |

Welcome to HEE! I've been riding for about 9 years now, and i do it every day, apart from fridays. Honestly, i own 4 horses, and it's the best thing you can do. It all started when me and my family where on vacation, and i wanted to go into the mountains, so my family booked a horse trial - since then it's my favourite thing to do! I've been to the hospital a lot of times because of my horses, though.. |

Welcome! I've just started riding. I ride an Arabian mare, Envy. I wish I had horse, but, sadly I don't. My neighbor used to have a lot of horses just in a big paddock, where we could just look at them though a fence seperating from our yard. Recently he died and the horses got sold so we could no longer ride them. I wish I just kick up the courge to voulenteer to exercise the horses at my riding stables, and feeding them so that I can learn more about responsiblity. |
