Hey everyone! I was wondering if any of you might have some cool halloween costume ideas for a red roan? Been thinking about doing something fun but don't have any good ideas! |

I dressed my horse up as a money pit one year: black saddle pad and bonnet with fake money glued to it and a big sign saying money pit on it (works for any color) or, if your horse is naughty/mean, you could dress them up as a devil! |

I was supposed to compete in a fun little thing this halloween and use this costume but I'll just use it next year. I was going to dress as Cindy Lou Who and my horse as the Grinch. Fuzzy green leg warmers and all |

One year I was thing one and thing 2 - I had ironed on a thing 2 sticker to a red long sleeve and I wore red tights under a blue tutu. I also put those fun curly bows on my helmet. For my horse I tapped the same curly bows to her headstall, taped a thing 1 sticker to her breast collar, and I covered her in red glitter ~~~
Airel and Flounder - I found green "Mermaid" pants at spirit Halloween, I also found red pony tail hair extension from the same place. I found a purple tank top with lots of fabric around the breast that kinda looked like a bra. I bought a yellow lyrca hood for my horse and somehow attached "fins", I honestly don't remember how. The fins were just cardboard painted blue with blue glitter. I also attached fins to my saddle pad. I then made the blue and yellow stripes on her butt with glitter.
~~~~ Finally last year I did a Farmer and a John Deer Tractor - I wore my usual everyday coveralls and bundled up underneath them since it was an outdoor event. Then I sewed John Deer into a green sheet and tossed it over my saddle pad. I also made sleeves to go over my breast collar and I sewed on 4440 to indicate what model she was. Then of course I used green glitter on her butt and mane |
