I've had her for a little over a month. Bought her at a shady horse sale like we do with most of our horses. I had no idea how old she was or what she'd done. She was said to be a "trail horse." I didn't really care. She was cheap and is stunning and this was the best shot I ever took.
I bought her on a Wednesday. On Saturday we went and jumped XC (my 2nd time riding her) we schooled dressage and kinda just messed around.
Piper is 14.3hh Gypsy x Paint. She is sassy. She enjoys arguing with me and is easily distracted. Amidst her fleet of mareishness she's a joy to be around. She's insanely smart which is good and bad because she knows she can get out of certain things. I jump her regularly and she's extremely athletic having gone up to 3 foot so far. I plan on eventing her next season and doing some show jumping.
I don't trust many people with her since she's not the easiest to get along with because she is resistant to say the least. But we seem to make a pretty good team and I plan on keeping her at least through the winter then I may think of selling her but maybe not...?
Upcoming events with Pip:
11/22 - Charity Show @ WD (English flat classes and 2 ft jumping *there are no higher classes lol*)
