I think you might be to tall and heavy for that pony. you would probably want to get something around 14hh. now I am not an expert at this stuff this is just my opinion, so sorry if I am wrong:)

Yeah I was just wondering if she might grow any more as she's quite young at the moment

Horses grow until 5-6 years old. So she still has a few years of growing.

65kgs is nothing for a 13.2hh pony, hell even 80kgs would be nothing if the pony was built right. some ponies will carry up to 100kgs without blinking an eye, sometimes even more.

I am a big lady, I am 5'7 1/2 and well over 100kgs and I've trail ridden on a stocky 14.1hh riding pony for hours and hours. He barely broke a sweat.

I have a friend who is pushing 6 foot tall and is around 75kgs and she rides her daughters pony who is 13.1hh.

People often underestimate the strength of ponies.

I mean I rode a 14.1 When I was 4ft 6in, 65 pounds, and he only got tired at shows and after a good hour of jumping 1ft 9in and up. He was nine.

It really depends on what height the pony will finish at, since sheÂ’s only 2 thereÂ’s still lots of time for growing, if you think you will end up being closer to 6ft in height, IÂ’d consider looking at a horse, but also look at what height the pony will finish at, if 14hh+ i think you will be okay

Ponies tend to finish in height long before horses do.
Most have reached their adult height by 3/ 3.5

I bought my first pony at 3. He was 14.1.
He is now 6 and is still 14.1

I had hopes hed get 15hh. Nope. I'm 5'8. And while I ride my boy fine, I do look borderline too tall. His barrel takes up quite a bit of leg, which is helpful.

While I think that pony would carry you fine, I do think you might look a bit rediculous with your feet/ankles below the stomach line.

If the thought of being too tall looking bothers you, I would err on the safe side and buy something already 14hh

Horses wonÂ’t stop growing until they are around 7 or 8 yo
I think she is a little to small for you and you should ride a pony around 14hh

IÂ’m sorry if IÂ’m wrong about the age that is what I was told
