So this is my filly April, born in April lol. We call her Little Miss April Sunshine. She is the most cutest and funny little foal I’ve ever seen and spent time with. Over 2 months though she has began to shed her baby fur and me and my grandma think that she will be either a liver chestnut or a bay. Any of you have any ideas ?

Who is her father and/or what color is he? Are her parents registered?

She will be liver is my guess. Bays and browns are always born with black manes (mixed with silver guard hairs), not chestnut.

We rescued her mother from a kill lot and she had a different baby with her. We think she was bred in the kill lot so we don’t know who the father is. The mother isn’t registered, but we are thinking the father was.

Ah, so she is a surprise baby. That’s adorable XD She’s gorgeous regardless of what color she turns out. Very cute face on that one. <3
