I'm honestly surprised I haven''t made a thread about my guy yet. Well, Scooter is a 16yo 10hh Shetland pony. He's currently living in the lap of luxury, babysitting for 3 retired grand prix horses, one a Pan-Am games winner, and living in a large 2 stall barn with constant access to 4 acres of field to graze in. He's a true saint of a pony, though. He's taught me and my sister how to ride, and gone to a few fairs as part of a lead line type of thing for young children. His buddies, Zac, Primo, and Dutchie (show names Special Lux, Primo, and Romantovich Take One) are all hopelessly attached to the spunky little thing. We can't even trailer him or lead him anywhere anymore without one of them having a little panic attack, so now bath time is a party. He is currently working on a little bit of in hand jumping, which he took to really well, considering most of his exercise consists of running from the poor grooms on vaccine day. We've had this lovely little terror for about 14 or 15 years now, and he is not going anywhere. We hope to keep in with us as long as he's willing to put up with our nonsense.
