So a couple months ago maple had a horrible neighbor who both kicked him (set him on stall rest for 2 months) repeatedly flooded his house (during stall rest and rainstorms so he had no dry area and injured himself worse slipping) aaaand ate like 2/3rds of his mane. Yeah. Thankfully this terror has left and hes sound again but his mane is taking forever to grow. She chewed it down so he was bald. Its grown maybe 2 or so inches, but Im wondering does anyone have any suggestions to help speed it up? I put lavender on it when it was bald as my trainer said that helps but I was wondering if anything else would too? His tail grows much faster than his mane but Im not doing anything differently. |

This horse was insane 😭 She broke his waterer like 15 times no joke Finally got a board put up so she couldnt and she started chewing the board |

If he is away from any other horses, coconut oil seems to work. It's just very enticing to other animals! A little in their feed could be helpful, too, as honestly the main thing is diet. I noticed that my horses' manes and tails seem to blossom on rice bran. |

Oil the mane! Coconut oil is a good nuetral one, so is flaxseed/linseed. |
