It's official! Today my dream of owning a horse came true! Meet Orion!

Orion is a 10 year old, 16.2 h, quarter horse. He was a ranch/trail horse, but he is going to be my eventing horse. His original name was Dude, but I decided to name him after my favorite constellation: Orion's belt.

I did a one week trial on him and he quickly proved himself to be kind, gentle, and a fast learner. He can be a little unsure of himself at times and is headshy, but he is not spooky and does great if you move slowly around him.

I can't wait to see what we will accomplish together!
