Its interesting how much braver you get when you're feeling lazy. Im about to go for a hack on bike night in just a headcollar purely because I can't be arsed to swap my bit back over on her bridle 🙈🤣

Worth a shot :) The part I had/have a hard time with is the training fees on top of the purchase fee. I think breeding them could make the difference. If you do the math, it could cost anywhere between 10k on the "extreme dumb end" of only earning 1 training point/4% on a stat per session, to 3,400 on the "extremely smart" end where they get 3 points/12% each session.

I'd say if you can breed them possibly. If you're buying them though and want to cover costs, I haven't had overwhelming luck. I'd say probably keep them a stud though, and/or do mares

is there any money in breeding and selling geldings with W bravery? I have a round pen to train them up as well

Storm, if you suspect someone it would be better sending it to mods/Eve instead of posting it here

Question on that for accounts. So if you make accounts, have 3 or so, access two different internet regularly and then use them to better. It would still be cheating? Because I just realized people would do that

Do you have access to a small arena, large stall, or a round pen? You could try free lunging her, and giving her something interesting to do, like go over a pole or small jump

If she wants to go fast and not listen, make her bored. I have a barrel horse that wants to be all gas and no breaks, which is usually what I ask for to be fair, but if I want her to slow down and start really listening to learn something new, I'll pick a place in the pasture and just start trotting circles. I use both hands on the reins for as long as I need to show her where the circle is, then we I loosen up the reins and trot circles for as long as it takes for her to relax. I know she's relaxed when I can switch directions without contact on the bit and stop with minimal contact. By that time, she's doing a slow, smooth trot because she knows that she isn't really going anywhere and going fast isn't going to change anything. Then, we can work on whatever slow thing I want to work on with it. It's just a matter of letting her know that there's no reason to go fast and that she can have her head and relax. Works wonders for her.

I rode her today and tried this, and she was a lot better, she was giving me a nice slow trot, she would still try to bust into a dead run when j asked for a canter, but I will take the small victories!

My friend has a trainer she uses on her horses that I am considering having come out and see if he has any tips or ideas.

A trainer sounds like your best bet. He'll be able to troubleshoot better in person than people can online :)

Maybe try and get the trainer out? And in the meantime just try to make headway on her trot, and don't worry so much about cantering until you can get help.
