I just bought a new saddle, and t fits good on his back, sits even and doesn't put too much pressure on his spine. But he has high hithers and when I sit on the saddle it lays on his withers. It's a barrel racing saddle. Any recommendations on saddle pads I could use to help the issue?

Martha Josey pads are good, and Reinsman pads are almost always excellent. I also run barrels.

This is one of my pads and it works great for when I want to prop it up a bit off my horse's withers :)

This is what I use along with a thin riser pad.

Use doveor back on track
