Looks good so far well done But try to remember your heels and i would shorten your stirrup by one hole atleast.

HEELS HEELS HEELS ! Get used to having your heels down. I ride too much with out stirrups so itÂ’s easy for me to remember. I think riding a lot without stirrups would be great. |

Good on you for looking for critique! A fresh eye is always good!
From what I can see, you have a good canter seat with following hips and a still lower leg. You don’t try to lift the horse over the fence or jump the fence yourself, if you get what I mean. That’s all good!
In my opinion, you’d see much improvement in your heel flexibility and the angle of your knee if you shortened your stirrups by about two holes. There is a lot to be said for riding without stirrups! There is a little bit of collapsing in the abdomen over the fence, a good trick is to look at the sky as you go over the fence, which will cause your upper body to tense enough to stop the back arching or the tummy collapsing.
Over all, your position is good and I like how you follow the horse. Good job and beautiful horse by the way! |

Thank you everybody!!!! I always like critiques! I have been developing "trainer equitation" since I haven't been thinking about my position and all about him and I haven't had a jump lesson since March. Thank you all I will try to remember and work on them! Believe it or not my toe could almost touch my shin that's how far my heels used to be haha! |
