ive had many 'first horses and ponies' but im gonna say 2!
First one is Archie, he was a 15,2hh TBxArabxQH. I learnt to ride and jump on him and he was 19 when we bought him (i was only 10)..I did my first ever 1m jump on him due to him being mainly a TB and he also being an ex racer we couldnt do much jumping as he got older! about 1yr-6 months ago we sadly had to put him down :(
The second one is Affy,he isnt really my 'first horse' but he was a 13.2hh 5 yr old welshxcob and he was the most cutest thing ever! He jumped over 1m 40 with me even though he was very small! He was a talented pony but sadly a couple of days ago we had to put him to sleep due to him colicing and him having bad ache and always being in pain and it wasnt fair on him... :(
I now own Super and Megan and loan Ginger
Super is a 16.2hh Hanovarian gelding. He can jump 1m 70 and has proven that he isnt the naughty spooky horse i bought him like! when i first rode him he was an ass and bucked and chucked me off twice! I still tried with him and he finally turned into a sweetie! He is 7 yrs old now
Megan is a 14.3hh cob but doesnt look like a cob (shes all tided up). She is 4 yrs old and has being abused for the first 3 yrs of her life! She then came to me as a scared,unbroken,spooky horse and after 6 months of hard work she turned into a broken,brave,bombproof horse! <3
Ginger is a 14hh breed unknown gelding! i dont really know much about him but he is adorable! :D |
