Also, it's UI-UX update isn't really negotiable, we are going to have it. The feedback I'm looking for is more about how the changes are working for you.

Same. Revel Ranch said: I agree wholeheartedly. I play this game both on my phone and on my laptop and I have NEVER had an issue interacting with it using my phone. Versailles said: I don't mean to offend, but I also have to admit- I'm not a fan of the new mobile friendly version. . Please take this gently, I do not mean harm... But I don't see how the previous version wasn't mobile friendly. So many people played on phone and weren't complaining, so I don't know if it's worth the money to make the change for us. I promise we're content as it is. All the poll told you was that there's lots of us. And that lots of us aren't a fan. . The navi bar, the chatbox, the sizing, etc. and we aren't going to have an option if it's fully implemented.

Anywho. The Welcome to HEE text is squished in with the trees and is kind of unreadable unless you squint your eyes. That's just something I wanted to mention. Edited at December 11, 2024 07:00 PM by Port Royal Equines

Can the bar that contains all the money, weather, mail, etc be made slightly taller? I've noticed that when I have mail and try to click on it, I usually end up hitting the community drop down instead. It's a much shorter area and doesn't have a lot of wiggle room.

Not sure if this is a bug but Club Management has disappeared from stable activities page.

Cadence Farms said: People always hate change. You just need to get used to it. In order for the site to grow it needs to be modernized. This isn't the 2000's any longer. Modern websites are mobile responsive and people expect that. The current layout is extremely unfriendly for people signing up on phones. They can't use the tutorial. They sign up and quit because they don't know what to do. I can no longer ignore the usability for mobile users.
I am a professional UX/UI designer and I wholeheartedly agree with you, eve. This update is necessary. The website has tons on issues on mobile (writing from one right now). You can't imagine how many issues the forum gives me just to merely write this. Sending straws from a phone, something I have done tons of times, is also tedious. Zoom in, zoom out. Reading mail is a nightmare because you can't scroll properly. Guys, I am a designer but I know for a fact that making a web responsive means making things simple. You need to have the same elements regardless of the device you are using. They will just get bigger or smaller. This is why we designers prefer to go mobile first, because going big is always easier. Mobile means fitting a lot of things in a small screen. Edited at December 14, 2024 06:26 AM by Shivering Sea

Couldn't agree with Shiv more. This update is needed. Nowadays everyone uses their phone- and the old HEE was not built for mobile users. Change is needed, otherwise the game will be outdated which doesn't help attract new players (and in some cases, doesn't help keep current players). Some may not see an issue with the old HEE because they've grown so used to it, but playing on mobile isn't easy. Like Shiv said, lots of zooming in. It's difficult in the forums where there's so many links and small text, I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally clicked the wrong thing. There's been several times I've accidentally bought a horse instead of breeding to it because of how tiny everything is. And as a mod, it can be difficult to do my job on my phone (accidentally hitting buttons in chat, having to zoom in for everything, etc). Just because you're fine with the old layout on mobile, doesn't mean others feel the same. The game needs to evolve, it needs to update. It'll take some getting used to, but sometimes change is necessary. Edited at December 14, 2024 09:55 AM by California Valley

I went from spending 1.5+ hours on HEE to just logging in to keep my streak because it's too much work navigating the front page on mobile. The menu means an extra unnecessarily button, and on my laptop it's also weirdly stretched out and not pleasing to work with/look at. Hopefully I'll grow to like it, and I don't think I'll ever quit the game, but right now it's kinda making me dread having it do anything on here, and that's just with the main page updated. Hopefully this is a "trust the process" sort of event
