My boy changed to the Chestnut Chimera, he was the Brown Chimera originally before the whole Apricot Chimera mess. Will he go back to Brown or will I be stuck with the Chestnut?

EDIT: 4 out of 4 of my known Chimeric horses are all Chestnut Chimeras when I know for a fact 3 of those 4 were Black or Brown Chimeras to start with.
