She is! She's actually gotten better about not coming into the barn unless she's led into it (farrier). At most, she'll step in with two hooves because I'm 'taking too long' with her hay. Once she confirms I'm working on it, she'll back out and go back to waiting.

it being the door to the barn. It's really a hilarious story. Mom and I were by the hay, talking. We BOTH heard the door beep + lock click that means the key code was entered. We looked to the door because we thought it was my step-dad. Door opened, surprise Oklahoma. No step-dad

Thankfully no. I'm pretty sure she did it because room service (me) was late with her hay.

I'm wondering regarding that brindle colt I got - as brindle to my understanding is a random mutation and not inheritable, would it be a good idea to geld the colt for show purposes if breeding won't affect the likelihood of brindle progeny?

I'm not sure what the issue here is. I may need to reread this a few times and rewrite my post, but, I have to eat, so, I'm going to quickly post this.:

@Cadence Farm;
Yeah, because it's OP's horse pitted against a single breed LB (a shortened population of horses)
VS
OP's horse pitted against all of the horses of all the breeds LB- meaning it's pitted against all the horses of all the breeds (a bigger population of horses).

Ex. OP's KNN is doing great in it's own breed LB- but that's it. Someone else's horse of a different breed is doing better than OP's KNN. Lots of horses of different breeds are doing better than OP's KNN. This shows in the all breeds LB.

Ex. RID Capricornus still retains the first spot because he's the bravest in his breed and all of the horses of all of the breeds.

Ex. RID Allistor is #5 in his own breed LB, because he's doing great in that condensed population that is his own breed. He's #19 in the all breed LB- all of the horses of all of the breeds- because there are other horses of his breed AND other breeds that are doing better than him.

The other thing I'm understanding is the someone's KNN is doing great in it's own breed LB and has a spot in the all breed LB. It's lower but it still appears on the all breed LB. It is the first KNN you see on the list, as stated by the "(KNN)" next to its name. This means it's breed is KNN and if it's the first KNN you see then it's the highest of it's breed in the all breed LB. It's logically a lower spot because, again, all breed LB- pitted against all of the horses of all of the breeds.

They're out of order due to all that. That is how it is. It makes sense.
That is how I have always seen it. Anyone with more experience and that understands it more may correct me.
Do you want your horse to be higher in the all breed LB? Keep it's current place in its own breed LB and work on the all breed LB, too.

That's not a bug. It just means the RIDs are braver than the KNNs.

That's not the issue I'm picking up on, the issue is that horses are out of order. The #2 KNN on the breed lb is the #4 KNN on the ablb. That doesn't make sense.

The issue is that on the breed LBs you have, in order, Mike, Jon, then Dave (making up names here as an example). Then, looking at the ABLB, Dave is suddenly showing as stronger in bravery than both Mike and Jon, when compared to each other on the ABLB they should still rank Mike, Jon, and then Dave.
Mike is #1 on the breed LB and #50 on the ABLB. The problem is that Dave is #3 on the same breed LB and #35 ABLB. So he's stronger than Mike on one bravery list, but not on the other.

I think Trickster has it right.

It's like saying horses numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4 are in that order on the single breed LB, and are then ordered 1, 4, 2, 3 on the ABLB.

It isn't a matter of being #1 on the breed board and #5 on the ABLB behind horses of other breeds, that's normal. It's a case of being #1 on the breed board and then ranking behind the horse that was #5 on the breed board, on the ABLB.
