Yes but a certain age range. I've had mostly beef which is aged beyond a certain point. Like mutton isn't very nice.

This AA girl is on my watchlist, and when I put her into the matchmaker, the list displays her as TB :)
Edit: now that I look at it, every mare I'm watching is displayed as TB on the list, though many are not.

This is currently happening to me as well, and has been for a while now.
I believe it's every mare you're watching on the Match Straws list will show up as a breed they are not. Mine all show up as SH :/
