That said, I show a lot of mares as well and they are also very successful even though they train a little bit slower than geldings

Stallions: no, unless they are homozygous in something that would make them useful for quests.
Mares: I keep them around, they can be useful for quests, or even breeding up if they have good color.
Geldings: absolute yes, they make excellent show horses!

Been off the game for quite a while and looking for some advice! Is it worth keeping horses that are PEE or someother combo?

Technically, the original maps (not the SD ones) have the potential to boost bravery as well. But I suppose maps that are only focused on bravery would be nice for bravery breeders

Hi :)
So I usually get over 3000 horses from the first pasture breeding (I currently have 68 - 100 stall barns set up) and today/tonight, I only got 163 foals total :(

lol I know this can't be right, as the game usually breeds about half of all available mares each night. Please help :D

*sets out raid*

Ok.

3000 horses at one time.

At some point like this you break the game.

You'll have to be patient and let them be bred over several days.

Because at some point it becomes more than the server can handle.

It's been done for many months now... Never been a problem. This was just weird and the last time I saw this 'short breeding' was when we had a problem with the new toggle for the sneaky stud PMs...
Just thought I'd mention it...

I notice mine went down as well. I breed my color horses through pasture, and usually I get 400-600 foals on the first night. This time I got 82 or so.
I have a much smaller scale than Bar of course, but it still lowered mine.

I will look at that script again, but I am not sure why it would be doing that.

Same here, I have about 260 mares set to pasturebreed annually and I typically get about ~180 foals on the first night if I recall correctly. I got a grand total of 0 last night which I've never come anywhere near before.

Well, it appears to have worked for last night! 588 foals bred. Wonder what happened with it?

I think there are just too many horses that its trying to process.
It cant really mass breed thousands and thousands of horses at one time. It will break.

I might put a limit on it to only process 500 per night.
