HEE only celebrates Leap Day birthdays on February 29th - which is every four years. While others look forward to annual celebrations on Horse Eden Eventing through Birthday Shout Outs and Birthday Gifts - Leap Day birthdays are left out. A BIG Happy Birthday Shout Out to other Leap Day Babies! Cheers to be only a quarter of our years!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful 28th or 1st proxy birthday! |

Happy Leap Day 🐸 & Zebra Day 🦓! It's that magical year where February 29th babies get to celebrate their actual birthday!!! Happy Birthday 🎉 Unfortunately that means that every four years, our birthday is celebrated on HEE. With a birthday banner and rerolls. That means three years of missed out birthdays and no rerolls or acknowledgement. Please help and recognize that Leap Day people are just as important as everyone else in regards to birthdays. |

Happy Birthday! Could you set your birthday as the 28th for HEE? I have a friend who's a leap year baby and he just uses the 28th as his birthday for most things so it's counted every year :) |

My best pal married her sweetie on Leap Day in 1980. They decided that they would do "just us" stuff every time a real anniversary came around and "family stuff" on the 28th every year. They have a savings account for anniversary savings and do something really special every leap year. This year they are in the Bahamas. I agree that there should be some way for HEE to recognize the "February" on the birth month and award you stuff when it changes to "March". It stinks that you all get cheated out of birthday goodies. |

Thank you both for recognizing this plight! Unfortunately, I already set the birthday for this account so unable to change it. I don't think I would if I could; I love the day and like being able to celebrate on the special day. Having to change to a different day just to be acknowledged isn't great - while yes there is a special celebration between 11:59 and 12 on Feb 28, for me in my family, I would like to also celebrate on HEE and enjoy the unique day. I would be fine with a once-every-four-years HEE birthday if it was treated with all the rerolls and celebration that other players receive every year on their birthday. Or maybe on Feb 28 on off years, there could be a section saying Feb 29 birthdays. It feels a bit like a negative consequence for having a unique birthday. Thank you |
