For the last day or so I've been getting gamemail about topics that I've supposedly subscribed to.. except they're all just topics that I've visited recently, and did not click around anywhere near the subscribe button. I've been unsubscribing as I get the subscription messages but still it's really confusing :/

Anyone else having the same issue?

Looks like this is a problem on this account too, just checked "My Subscriptions" and found two threads I don't remember subscribing to!

I had this happen recently too. I think it has to do when someone subscribes to a thread, then posts a link to the thread immediately after- if you click on that link, it'll autosubscribe you to the thread, too.

Were they links you clicked on in sales chat?

Edit: It's when the URL has a little 's=y' at the end of it.

That would be too easy :/

Most of the topics I've been surprise-subscribed to are not sales related, so doubt I got it from there..

edit: possibly if I've been clicking links in main chat - I haven't really been paying attention, but I'll start keeping track!

This also happens if someone posts a link to a horse they just watched, I've ended up with several studs on my watch list because of this

I'm also experiencing this issue. These are forum topics that I came across via browsing and not by a link.
