I have had it occur more than once doing a private sale the horse sells to a different stable than the one I entered in the sale number spot. The first time I thought it was my mistake but I double check the number now and verify before I click sale. It happened again to me yesterday with this horse

More information: I talked to the stable he was intended for and they did get a private sale message but there was no buy button on the horses page when they went to pick him up.

Did you put him up for sale first and then used the "put up for sale" view in the barn to put up some othe rhorses for sale?

I did not. I only put him for private to aforementioned stable
